9 May 2013since you have already cut the battery tray I agree with 5spdvl put the battery in the boot I think also that the v8 vl battery tray are on the opposite side so mayb look how there done

26 Apr 2013the ignition barrel are one of the weak links when it comes to vl's as they wear quickly(same with beamers) iv got 2 kill switchs in mine 1 under each side of the dash

17 Apr 2013a bloke at work had the same prob it was the earth wires either on the guard nere the battery or on the block cant remember. just sand the contact areas and see if that works
