Engine Rebuild

My engine just **** its self. got 205 000 on the clock. thermostat didn't open on the way home from work last week. don't know for sure but i think the head is cracked and a big end bearing is stuffed…

mine does that too, it is starting to do it in 3rd aswell now. how do you adjust the bands, is it hard to do.

what speed should a vl idle at. mine idles at about 1100 in park and about 600 in drive with foot on the brake.
